August 31, 2006 - Wasilla and Juneau legislative offices raided by armed FBI agents.

November 6, 2006 - Reelected to 7th term of office.

May 7, 2007 - FBI arrest in Juneau after threats of "fugitive status."

June 26, 2007 - Resignation from legislature.

October 18, 2007 - Major car accident with attorney; sustained neck injury.

October 22, 2007 - Day 1 of trial.

October 31, 2007 - Final day of trial.

November 1, 2007 - Verdict announced.

February 6, 2008 - Original sentencing date.

March 10, 2008 - Motion for new trial over conflicts of interest rejected by Judge Sedwick.

May 1, 2008 - Complaint filed against Judge Sedwick over conflicts of interest.

May 8, 2008 - Sentenced to 3-1/2 years in prison.

May 30, 2008 - Spinal surgery at Mat-Su Regional Medical Center from car accident injury.

June 23, 2008 - Motion seeking medical help following surgery rejected by Judge Sedwick.

June 30, 2008 - Turned self into U.S. Marshal's in Anchorage to begin prison term.

July 15, 2008 - Transferred to SeaTac Federal Detention Center near Seattle from Anchorage jail.

August 15, 2008 - Transferred to Oklahoma City Federal Detention Center.

August 22, 2008 - Transferred to Taft Federal Correctional Institution near Death Valley, CA.

January 10, 2009 - Wife's divorce over FBI fears finalized by Oregon court.

January 20, 2009 - Pardon not acted upon before President George W. Bush leaves office.

June 12, 2009 - Transferred to Sheridan Federal Correctional Institution near Portland, OR.

June 13, 2009 - Prison release request by U.S. Attorney General Holder over concealed evidence.

August 9, 2010 - Ex-U.S. Sen. Ted Stevens dies in plane crash, prompting conspiracy concerns.

August 18, 2010 - Motion to dismiss case over concealed evidence rejected by Judge Sedwick.

September 26, 2010 - Prosecutor Nicholas Marsh commits suicide.

March 14, 2011 - Convictions dismissed by U.S. Ninth Circuit Court over concealed evidence.  

August 6, 2011 - Motion requesting retrial move to Fairbanks approved by Judge Biestline.

October 11, 2011 - Plea deal over one charge days before retrial, following prosecutor threats.

March 10, 2012 - Criminal investigation report reveals additional concealed evidence and cover-up.

June 18, 2012 - Defamation lawsuit against Bill Allen for perjury at trial thrown out on technicality.

July 25, 2013 - Appeal over additional concealed evidence denied by U.S. Ninth Circuit Court. 

February 24, 2014 - Appeal over additional concealed evidence denied by U.S. Supreme Court.

June 1, 2014 - Filed for U.S. Senate.

August 19, 2014 - Won Alaska Indepedence Party nomination for U.S. Senate.

September 2, 2014 - Withdrew as senate candidate to endorse Republican Dan Sullivan.
